My name is Bobby Ford, and I’m a Junior in High School (Turning Seventeen September,30th). I have an interesting problem, you see, I’ve been going to school with many of the same friends throughout the years(Middle School, and Elementary School years). Many of these people are precious to me, I went to Kindergarten with most of them all the way through middle school. I was finally told that I would not be attending the same school that my friends were, because of my I.E.P.(Individualized Lesson Plan). I was very hurt at first, because my “new” circle of friends, whom I met and began associating with in 6th grade, would also be attending “Air Academy High School”. I had spent many years building up a particular reputation with this crowd, and almost to the point of being family! On the other hand, when I first went to “Pine Creek High School”, I met a very special friend who’s name is Curtis. He is semi-retarded, yet you can really learn a lot from him, about yourself, and learning to care for other people more (Not necessarily in a sexul way). Just by being himself, he has taught me to be a less selfish person, and to not care what other people think about me nearly as much. After I started spending time with him, we created a new circle of friends for ourselves, and his admiration for me apparently began to soar. (Just for reference, I’m not a female), Anyway, despite the fact that my current school is totally corrupt, full of racism, and sociopaths, Curtis has made it bareable. At one point, I began to relentlessly pile up requests to go to “Air Academy High School” sometime in my high school career. I pushed so hard, that my parents have finally put me in a position where all I have to do is choose;1)Stay at Pine Creek, or 2)Go to old Friends to finish up high school. My counselor set a deadline for when I must choose. I need to make a final decision about what I will do by March of 2011. I know that if I leave to go see my friends that have been talking about my return, I will also leave Curtis wondering where I went. But what am I supposed to say to him in that situation: “Sorry, you’re a great friend, but there are better ones over here”‘, What the hell would I say, if I chose Air Academy’ Now, I’m asking you to give me YOUR opinion; Should I stay here anyway, or go to Air Academy’ I will make my decision, based on which answer has the most votes. Also, if you could explain why you gave that answer, that would be nice please. Thank You!
