I homeschool one of my relatives, and by the end of this summer, i hope for her to be the smartest girl in her class! But, i started teaching her last week and half the time, she singing, or out of her seat, dancing around…. And when she starts real school, i wouldnt be so satisfied, talking to her teacher about that. So i was on the phone with one of my friends, and she said that kindergarten teachers have a secret, or charm that keeps the little one’s attention. After that, i got to thinking; am i too boring, or too easy on her, or not encouraging enough’ I tried looking up centers, activities, lesson plans, only one or two worksheets a day, and no homework. Now, it’s becoming frustrading putting together everything, balancing schoolwork, and chores, but she isn’t even acting like i exsist. But, school’s about to end so that’ll be much easier for me, but I still have 3 weeks worth of school work and lesson plans. So helping me would be ssssssooooo great! Even if yo have any other teaching tips, ppplllleeeeaaasssseee let me know!
